Activities Committee

This committee provides fun & inclusive special events for the community year round. We are an Advisory Committee, with the mission to “plan, organize and conduct social activities and special events for the members of the Association.

Our events are for the whole community!

We work hard to create events that can serve young families and empty nesters alike. We try to keep our events well rounded and creative! These events are for our members and their guests; these are not open to the general public.

Collaboration is Encouraged

Many events have years of traditions behind them. As our community grows, we’d love to increase collaboration with the Moms Club, Over 50 Club, Garden Club, or any other club that would like to partner with us to enhance events for their audiences. Please contact us at any time if you’d like to brainstorm or represent ideas from your neighbors! It takes a village, and we’re here to support and encourage as much collaboration as possible.

Funding our Activities

Our funding is provided by LPOA, with a budget of $29,000 annually. Event expenses can include vendor fees, talent providers, DJ or equipment services, food or drink services, and supplies or giveaways for guests. We also provide opportunities for select business sponsorships throughout the year. Some events may charge direct fees to residents for food or beverages provided on site. Any individual fees for events would be included in registration information.

Become a Volunteer With Us!

These events are 100% volunteer led. We always welcome and need new volunteers!! Our busy season runs from Easter through Christmas, and we take a break during the winter months. Each event has varying degrees of planning needs. Whether you’d prefer the heavy lifting of the planning and organizing, or just showing up on the day of the events, we’d love to have you! During our busy season, we will generally meet monthly. We begin planning about 2-4 months in advance for all major events, so please contact us to discuss volunteer opportunities!
