Lake Management
Lakewood’s rainfall-fed waters are not just part of our namesake, but an integral amenity of the Lakewood community and lifestyle.
Whether you’re a hobby fisherman or enjoy swimming the waters, we aim to provide a well-balanced, healthy lake ecosystem that supports its usage.
Resident Stewardship
While we rely on staff and our management company to carry the bulk of the work of maintaining our waters, residents also play an integral part in that as well.
THIS IS PRIMARILY THROUGH INDIVIDUAL STEWARDSHIP!
• Containing and disposing of litter from your pontoon boats, on pleasure docks, lawns, etc.
• Limiting fertilizer runoff from lawn maintenance
• Not disturbing shoreline vegetation (Shorelines are considered COMMON GROUND and therefore residents should not remove or plant any vegetation)
