Great News!
The LPOA Board has approved expenditure parcel funds for the parcel to rebuild the enclosed trash structure – something the neighborhood has been needing for quite some time. The new structure will also require you to use electronic access. This will discourage active disposal made by individuals outside our community as well as the disposal of materials such as construction and moving debris. Look for more information as we move forward.
Lakewood Bay Action Request Form
To ensure that concerns expressed by the community are addressed in a timely fashion, attached you will find an Action Request Form. The form, which can be found at www.lpoa.com/about-us/parcels/lakewood-bay, should be completed when you have any issues that need to be addressed by the parcel committee. This form will allow the committee to track your request from beginning to end including communicating the results to the homeowner. The committee has asked Sean Bachtel to require the form before the committee acts. The committee recognizes that some issues have required multiple requests and homeowners may not have received a response. The goal is to ensure the committee deals with issues in a timely manner and the homeowners know what has been done to address their concerns.
Roofing Activity
The committee had a general inspection of the community roofs. The company discussed their findings with the committee, and a determination was made to engage them to rectify the issues as part of the ongoing exterior maintenance. The LPOA will review the request in March. The committee anticipates the work will begin immediately following approval.
Thank You Chris, Welcome Scott
The committee would like to thank Chris Farrell who served as the chair of the parcel committee for several years. We greatly appreciate your dedication to the community Chris! Welcome to our new chair, Scott Spiwak. Scott, a member of the parcel committee since 2023, was willing to move into the vacancy. Remember, the parcel committee is comprised of volunteers – individuals who believe in our community and want it to continue to shine. If you are interested in serving on the committee, we welcome your input and your time.
Open Parcel Committee Meeting
The next open meeting of the parcel committee will be held on March 10 at the Lakewood Oaks Clubhouse beginning at 6:30 p.m. All residents are welcome to attend.
