Ladies 50+ Club
“FRIENDSHIP, FUN, AND FABULOUS 50+ FEMALES”
This social club is open to all Lakewood women over 50 years of age. We focus on engaging the women of Lakewood in a variety of fun experiences that keep us active and connected within our community. We meet monthly, but also schedule field trips and special events that reflect member interest. The club is an opportunity for camaraderie and celebration of old and new friendships.
What We Do
There’s something for every interest. Take a plunge or enjoy an adult beverage poolside at our ladies only Back to School pool party. Boogie the night away at one of our community-wide dance parties. Join in our annual “Dam” Breast Cancer Walk and celebrate survivors. Learn about beekeeping and sample honey from a local apiarist. Run – well, walk actually – the bases after a Royals’ game. Pickleball, anyone? The possibilities are endless. Offer up your own ideas – if it’s fun and friendly, the ladies are game.
Meetings
Meetings typically occur on the third Monday of every month from 11:00 AM–3:00 in the Augusta Room. Check the Events Calendar below for each month’s meeting info.
