Call for Questions | 2024 Board Election Candidates Forum

This year’s LPOA Board of Directors Election Candidates have been certified and announced—and the Meet Your Candidates Night is right around the corner which will be an informal way to meet your candidates as neighbors! From now until March 20th, we invite and strongly encourage all residents to submit questions for the Candidates Forum happening at 7:00 PM Thursday, March 28 at the Lakewood Oaks Clubhouse. The Candidate’s Forum is your opportunity to learn how our Board of Directors candidates would address important issues of the community.
• The format enables you to gain insight before you cast your vote with regard to candidates’ approaches to problem solving and addressing opportunities
• Your questions will shape the content of the Forum’s discussion.
So, what do you need to do to submit your questions?
• Send your questions for the candidates to lpoaelectioncommittee@gmail.com by March 20th, 2024 where the Election Committee will gather, review and organize questions received. All submissions are treated confidentially!
What can you expect at the Candidates Forum?
• The forum will be held at the Lakewood Oaks Clubhouse and will begin at 7:00 PM.
• The forum will be recorded (not livestreamed) and will be available for viewing on the Election Committee page following the event in case you can’t attend!
• A moderator will pose the questions to the candidates and give each one a timed opportunity to respond.
• No questions will be taken from the floor that night—you must submit your questions in advance.
