Consent Agenda
Under the Consent Agenda, the Board approved the 11/14/24 Board Meeting Minutes and 12/3/24 Executive Committee Meeting Minutes and the ratification of Diana Ewert and Theresa Spiwak to the Lakewood Bay Parcel Committee.
Ad-hoc Playground Committee Update
A motion was passed to approve a bid package and authorize staff to seek bids for the new Fairway Homes Playground.
By-law Amendments
A motion was passed to amend the LPOA By-laws, Articles V and XV as presented after membership was duly notified.
Nomination of At-Large Board Member to Fill Vacant Seat
Debbie Stalnaker was nominated and seated to fill the vacant Board seat.
Amendment to 2025 LPOA Operating Budget
A motion was passed to amend the LPOA Operating Budget for 2025 due to labor costs arising from the approval of Proposition A, Legal Fees, Insurance, and Envision Lakewood Program.
Carryover of 2024 LPOA LIP Funds
A motion was passed to carry over unused funds for approved 2024 projects to 2025 in order to complete these projects.
LPOA CPA Contract Renewal
A motion was passed to renew the contract with LPOA’s CPA firm for 2025.
LPOA Line of Credit Renewal
A motion was passed to renew LPOA’s $500,000.00 line of credit with Central Bank.
Lakewood Ladies 50+ Club Request No Fee Use of Clubhouse
A motion was passed to approve the clubs request to waive fees for use of the clubhouse for dates and times as presented.
2025 Clubhouse Fees and Policy
A motion was passed to approve the 2025 fees and policy for renting banquet rooms at the Lakewood Oaks Clubhouse.
Pending Amendment to LPOA Rules and Regulations
A motion was passed to approve the publication of a pending amendment to LPOA Rules and Regulations, 10.040 and 10.050 that are currently in conflict with LPOA by-laws.
Year End Write Offs of Uncollectable Debt
A motion was passed to approve the write off of 2 accounts of uncollectable debt.
