The committee purpose is to supervise the nomination and election of Directors in accordance with procedures adopted by the Board. Responsibilities include:

• Assuring timely announcement of key dates/events in the election process to membership
• Ensuring at least one candidate has been nominated for each expiring seat on the Board
• Planning, facilitating, and hosting various election-related events to inform and engage membership in the election process
• Educating and communicating with members about campaign and voting activities
• Receiving and announcing the election results
• Recommending improvements in the election process to the Board

Committee members should be able to attend monthly meetings leading into and during the election cycle (November through May). Each member must be committed to ensuring a fair and impartial election process. Follow the link below to complete and submit the Committee Interest Form (CIF); please select Election Committee only. Interest forms should be submitted no later than 5:00 pm August 30.

This committee can be applied for by filling out the Online Committee Interest Form. Please only select ‘Elections’ when filling out the form.
