From the Association

We are pleased to announce that the last of our civil litigation has now come to a close.

In the matter of Erik D. Steffen vs. LPOA, Case No. 2416–CV21775, the Court ruled in favor of the LPOA and dismissed the case with prejudice on September 25, 2025.

Plaintiff Steffen subsequently filed an appeal with the Missouri Court of Appeals. The court dismissed this appeal on December 17, 2025.

The Association extends our gratitude to the courts for these just orders and we thank Wolf, Watters, Bub and Hansmann as well as Kutak Rock, LLP. for their excellent legal representation of the Association in this matter.

We also thank the Cincinnati Insurance Company for their financial commitment to protecting the interests of the Association.
