The Maintenance Department Oversees the Following Areas
The Clubhouse Maintenance

- Building maintenance for our clubhouse and maintenance facility
- Maintain kitchen appliances, soda fountains, bathrooms
- Conduct flat roof inspections, manage HVAC
Lakes & Ponds

- Mowing of the dams, sloped common areas and the 23 acre area
- Perform Shoreline Maintenance
- Work with contractors to spray ponds for aquatic vegetation growth
- Manage and plan desiltation projects
- Manage the dam spillway as needed
Landscaping, Trees & Turf

- Mowing of the dams, sloped common areas and the 23 acre area
- Maintaining landscaping and planting beds on common areas
- Tree trimming and tree removal on common ground
- Perform and monitor chemical applications for weeds and turf

Marina & Pleasure Docks

- Maintenance of Lakewood’s two marinas
- Goose and wildlife cleanup
- Service, grease, align cables from all the ramps and docks
- Maintain lighting, security video cameras, and electrical repair
- Install New Pleasure docks
Monuments, Pet Waste Stations & Trash Stations

- Perform weekly service at all pet stations
- Inspect lighting and perform stone washing at all monuments
- Install holiday wreaths and decor
Parking Lots, Streets, Sidewalks & Boat Ramps

- Maintain fleets of Patrol vehicles; Prepare trucks, plows and vehicles for winter service
- Plow streets, Manage snow removal and salting
- Fill and seed erosion areas around common area sidewalks
- Prepare replacement plans for cracked sidewalks and repairs
Pavilions & Picnic Shelters

- Maintain light bulbs, HVAC filters, thermostats
- Winterize annually
- Manage bathrooms, supplies, trash
- Manage the tables, chairs, and keep clean
Playgrounds and Sports Courts

- Upkeep of Lakewood’s swimming pools, sports courts, playgrounds, and swim beach
- Manage the walking trail
- Maintain tennis & pickle ball nets
- Regularly drag the softball fields
Pools & Water Parks

- Annual winterization process
- Submit annual applications for Jackson County Permits
- Manages gutters, pool decks, drains, pool motors, etc.
