🌻🌊Summer is here, and Lakewood Community Services wants you to enjoy it to the fullest! There are a few things to keep in mind as you enjoy the amenities Lakewood has to offer.🏃🏻♀️🌅
Lakewood IDs: Make sure you have updated your ID, and keep it with you on common grounds and while out on the lakes! IDs are required to access the amenities such as the Pools & Marinas, and ID checks are conducted regularly by Community Services staff across common grounds.

No Wakes: Lakewood’s two lakes are no wake lakes, so if you are out on the water, make sure you are not driving watercraft fast enough to create a wake (10 mph or slower).
For questions regarding watercraft (registration, safety, etc) and rules for operating a watercraft on the lakes, visit our Boating Page
Be Mindful of Private Property: Please respect private properties. (i.e., walking around the lakes.) Common grounds do not make up the entire perimeter of the lakes. This also includes the Lakewood Oaks Golf Club—the golf cart paths are not for walking, and are for club member usage only.
To view where pools, marinas, shelter houses, courts, and more are located throughout Lakewood, see the Map of Lakewood.
Observe Lee’s Summit Noise Ordinance: From the hours of 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM LSMO observes a noise ordinance that must be followed—so be mindful of this when playing music, especially out on the lakes where sound carries!

Thank you for observing our Rules and Regulations this summer!
