Consent Agenda

Under the Consent Agenda, the Board approved the 8/13/26 Board Meeting Minutes and 9/1/26 Executive Committee Meeting Minutes. Steve Seward was ratified as a member of the LPOA Security Committee and Dennis Barrett and Kay Barrett were ratified as members of the Lakewood Bay Parcel Committee.

Review of LPOA Policy 3

A motion was passed to amend LPOA Policy 3 and publish the amended document.

Proposed Amendment to LPOA Rules and Regulations Article IV, Use of Common Area and Other Amenities

A motion was passed to approve the amended language and publish the amended document.

Request to Rent 233 NE Bayview Drive

A motion was passed to approve the request with stipulations, for one year.

Renewal of LPOA Employee Health Care Plan

A motion was passed to authorize the GM to renew plan.

Amendment to LPOA Policy 14, Common Ground

A motion was passed to approve the amended language and publish the amended document.

Clubhouse Purchase Ad-hoc Committee Report

A motion was passed to approve the Ad-hoc Committee’s recommendation for the LPOA to not pursue a purchase of the LHC Clubhouse.

Lakewood Oaks Pool Design Review and Approval

A motion was passed to approve the new pool design and direct staff to begin the bid process.

2027 LPOA User Fees

A motion was passed to approve the LPOA 2027 User Fees as recommended by the Finance Committee

A motion was passed to keep the LPOA trademark fee the same for one year and to direct staff to investigate industry standards and initiate an annual review of current and pending licensees.

Lake Management Update

The GM gave an update on the status of the currently installed V-notch measuring weir.
